Sonus Musicorum
International Music Festival
Founded in 2025 in Hamburg, Germany, Sonus Musicorum International Music Festival was created to offer an inspiring platform for musical education, artistic exchange, and international collaboration—especially for emerging young musicians. Spend five inspiring days in Hamburg at an intensive festival designed for pianists and violinists ready to grow—musically, artistically, and on stage—guided by an international faculty of distinguished artists and pedagogues.
Generous individual instruction
Participants receive three 40-minute individual masterclasses with festival faculty, tailored to their repertoire and artistic goals, supported by focused coaching throughout the week.
A festival built around performance
This is not a lesson-only program. Every participant is guided toward meaningful stage experience, including a Festival Participant Recital, performance coaching, and opportunities to build confidence, communication, and artistry.
Competition entry included
Festival participants receive competition entry at no additional cost, with the opportunity for selected prize winners to perform in the Winners’ Recital.
Professional video recording — included
To support auditions, portfolios, and artistic documentation, the festival provides professional video recording at no extra cost for the Festival Participant Recital and the Winners’ Recital.
A rare practice and concert environment
Through our partner institutions in Hamburg—Junge Musikakademie Hamburg, Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg, and Klangmanufaktur Hamburg—participants enjoy an outstanding artistic setting, including 24-hour practice rooms and a full Steinway practice-and-performance experience in both rehearsal and concert venues.
Included access for families and teachers
